Stocking Fillers for Her

It's never too early for a festive post, right?

It's a month till Christmas and by now, you're all probably in the midst of your christmas shopping (I finished mine in October but let's not mention that). But, sometimes it's hard to come up with ideas especially when you feel like you've given her the same present year in year out.

A really nice idea for people who are a bit stuck is to give a lot of little presents - buy yourself a nice sparkly glittery christmas gift box, chuck in a bit of tissue paper to jazz up the inside and fill them with little bits!

In my family, one thing we tend to do is stockings. Especially as my brother and I have reached the age where we only want one thing and well, it adds a bit of spice to Christmas. If you're like us and also do stockings, these could be some great ideas for you as well!

The Minature. Travel sized beauty products come in handy at christmas as there is something cute about getting little body washes as a gift. The one I chose was Soap&Glory Endless Glove because it's cold and hand cream is very necessary!

The perfume or body spray. I know what you're thinking, perfume is a bit pricey for a stocking? It is, but many high street stores like Zara do their own perfume for £10-15 like the one above, and they're often inspired by well known scents that would cost far more! Plus, the packaging is so classy, no one cares that it didn't cost £60. I love Zara Floral for Summer and Nuit for Winter. If £10 is a bit much, try The Body Shop as they do little perfumes of single fragrances for £6. The pink grapefruit one is my ideal of a perfect summer scent!

The Nail Polish. I love a good nail polish and since the age of six, I've always had a nail polish in my stocking. Topshop have come out with a super cute nail polish ornament for £5 which you can hang on your tree and just looks a little bit more special than the bog standard nail polish! I have the shade Cryogenic* which is a metallic silver. But if you don't have a Topshop near you, try a festive colour like Tanya Burr Riding Hood.

The Phone Case. Everyone has a smart phone and phone cases are everywhere, from £4 cases from ebay to £40 cases from Marc Jacobs, they're such a cute present! The one above is from ebay and cost less than a fiver and is a really nice idea especially when you know what phone the person has!

The Novelty Item. I like pretty things which is why I've included a Cath Kidston travelcard holder which is ideal if the person uses the bus or trains as it fits a monthly bus pass and rail card - helps with organisation as well! If you have an outlet near you, this holder costs around £7 but paperchase also have a great selection for around £5.

I hope this post has given you a couple of ideas to include in a stocking or as a present for someone - don't forget the necessary chocolate! By all means don't feel the need to include all of them as it could end up quite expensive but choose a couple of things - sometimes this comes across as more thoughtful than a single present!
