I may as well add 'brunch' to my resume because I have it so much, but there's a valid reason for it - it's just great. Whether it's a savoury or sweet option, breakfast food till noon definitely sets my day on a good path. I was recently invited to 19 Cafe Bar to try their brunch, and it is definitely a gem that I'll be adding to my list of favourite places in Manchester.

19 Cafe Bar is located on Lever Street, just a stone's throw from the bustle of Piccadilly Gardens. It's tucked behind some trees and is honestly a hidden gem (despite it being so central!) The place is decorated in warm tones and feels incredibly cosy - which is exactly how you want to feel when enjoying a leisurely brunch.

The brunch menu was incredibly extensive and had lots of variety - from your classic eggs benedict or pancakes to open bagels topped with all manner of goodness. I went for the Spinach and Mushrooms on toast which was served with poached eggs and a balsamic drizzle - it was delicious! It was served on two chunks of bread and was just delicious. My mum went for the Bacon open bagel which was also topped with poached eggs and was promptly demolished! The bagel was made up of a combination of cream cheese and avocado which was a unique twist on classic smashed avocado on toast.

We both had a coffee - and the coffee was delicious! It was really reasonably priced and had a really welcoming atmosphere! Would highly recommend a visit for brunch, as the food was not only delicious but was presented beautifully! If you have dietary restrictions, they had plenty of veggie and vegan options - and plenty of options for us omnivores! Needless to say, I will definitely be heading there again and have recommended it to plenty of friends.

Have you been to 19 Cafe Bar? Whats your go-to for brunch?

Please note that whilst I was invited to review the brunch, all opinions were entirely my own and are entirely honest.
