A New Cut with Melissa Salons

Located in the heart of the Northern Quarter, a stone's throw from Sugar Junction, is the newly opened and glistening 'Melissa Timperley Salon'. Like a beacon of calm amongst the trendy eateries of the area, it's everything you could want in a hair salon.

With all the Minimalism posts that have been popping up on my blog, it should be no surprise that I love anything with a clear and tranquil aesthetic and that is exactly what the salon brings. Melissa opened the salon with the hope of giving all of her clients beautiful hair, and that's certainly what she did with mine. Coming from Sassoon training and accolades including being a part of the F.A.M.E team in 2015 and being finalised for Creative Head’s IT Girl and British Hairdressing Awards Newcomer of the Year award, she's someone that is more than qualified to really knock it out of the park with your hair.

Melissa cut my hair and the whole experience was lovely from start to finish. From a great cup of coffee (and yummy chocolate...) to an invigorating hair massage, I felt completely pampered and managed to successfully avoid the usual hairdresser dread that I'm sure many of us can relate to. Melissa was both professional and warm and it was incredibly obvious that she was paying complete attention on getting my hair exactly right. I didn't want anything radically different with my hair as I need to be able to tie it up for the gym but she managed to sort out some bizarre layers I had and took me a bit shorter. I'm so pleased with my hair - It's exactly what I asked for and I felt a buzz with the feeling.

Melissa Salons has a brilliant website which details all the services offered. I would recommend getting in there quick as she gets booked up quickly!
