Ximply Chriz Cafe Brunei #BruneiCafeSeries - Brunei Coffee Shop

Just under one year ago, I posted an edit of my favourite coffee shops in Brunei, a post which is surprisingly one of the most popular posts on my blog! So instead of continuously adding to the list, I decided that instead, I would start up a series where each cafe or coffee shop has their own mini feature! 

And what better place to start than with Ximply Chriz cafe

Ximply Chriz is located in Regent Square, just off Simpang 150 in Kiulap, Brunei (Google map below), in the same shopping block as local favourites, Excapade and Little HotPot. Tucked away and without much external branding, it's a little gem of a cafe.

From a wide variety of cakes to an extensive brunch menu, Ximply Chriz has something for everyone. The menu is western based and features breakfast favourites like Eggs Benedict, and Salmon Asparagus on toast - I would highly recommend the Eggs Benedict as the Hollandaise Sauce was delicious!

But if you're not a brunch person like myself, they also have a wide range of dishes for both lunch and dinner including burgers, pasta and grilled salmon.

Their coffee is also delicious and would go perfectly with one of the many cakes that they have on offer! I've not tried their cakes but have heard good things about the Oreo Cheesecake!

But if you're dairy free, unfortunately, they don't offer any alternative milks like Soya or Almond, which was a bit annoying but hopefully that will happen soon! 

Whilst the decor doesn't speak volumes about the cafe, the staff are incredibly welcoming and so helpful - but of course, the promise of delicious food should sell it to you!
