There’s something about London on a summer’s day, sat in amongst the buzz of a food-filled festival, with an ice cold drink. Sounds pretty dreamy, right? Last week I found myself in central London, experiencing the Rekorderlig Botanicals Bar at Underbelly Festival Southbank – and it was a pretty fab time.
After a three year degree, followed by a one year Masters - it's safe to say, that I've written many an essay. And quite frankly, after four years of higher education, I've refined my essay writing to a skill. I worked out what works best for me and how I can be the most productive, and it's helped me write essays efficiently whilst still allowing for a bit of breathing room. So I thought I would share the tools and tips that help me write an essay! (Sidenote: if you're not at uni, I also use these tips & tricks when writing blog posts so they're fairly versatile!)
I've lived in rented accommodation for the majority of my life. When my family moved to Asia, we were always in rented accommodation, so I've never slept on a bed that has had a mattress that I've personally chosen. And to be honest, it's never something I've really thought about. So when Leesa Sleep asked if I'd like to review one of their mattresses, I jumped at the chance. And it's completely revolutionised the way I sleep.
I can hand on heart say that I used to have a tendency to overpack. It used to be so over the top that my parents consistently ask me "how heavy my case was", just so my dad could tell me how his bag was 15kg under the limit. I just like to be prepared, okay?!
We’ve all breezed past a shop window and been lured in by incredible holidays that are nothing like the destination you envisioned. I personally find travel agents rather intimidating and can often find myself being drawn to locations that aren’t what I’m after, simply because it’s a good deal.
Perhaps it’s just the way my friends and I function best, but I 100% prefer intense catch up sessions that last over 4 hours compared to regular coffee catch-ups. And a personal favourite way to add a bit of something different is to plan an activity. So I thought I’d share 4 of my favourite ways to spend time with your friends, as well as the perfect opportunity to try something different!
