Over half of singles (54%) in Manchester haven’t been on a date in more than a year – with low self-esteem and not feeling attractive among the main issues. This is according to the results of eharmony’s research that explores the issues currently affecting Manchester’s single population. This follows the news that Manchester has the highest concentration of singles across the whole of the UK.1

It may be because I’m up North, but it’s getting seriously chilly to the point where wearing my thermals daily is pretty regular. And it’s also the time of year where my inbox ends up flooded with ‘new in’ emails that can be pretty difficult to navigate. To be honest, this blog post has been way too long in the making. Not only was the event I attended over a month ago, but I’m approaching one of the busiest times of year for work (Black friday anyone?) so I’ve had limited daylight hours in which to actually shoot these products!
Londoners often face foggy and misty conditions when out and about on the road. Many of the low lying areas of the capital, such as those by Rainham Marshes, by the A13, or the Colne Valley Regional Park, by the A40, will see fog that can be well-established by the time that the morning rush hour begins in earnest. Sometimes fog in the capital does not clear until the sun has got high into the sky and - during the winter months, at least – this might mean that it does not clear at all.
Wahaca is possibly one of my favourite Mexican style restaurants. I must have been over 5 times so it’s safe to say that I leapt at the chance to try out this year’s Day of the Dead Feasting Menu. As I’m based in Manchester, we headed over the Wahaca in the Corn Exchange to enjoy the feast!
