#AperolSpritz


Okay, first off. Major disclaimer. I don't drink. So the post below is courtesy of one of my friends who was my taster of the day.

I was challenged to make an Aperol Spritz and was sent a lovely hamper jam packed full of goodies to help make the perfect Aperol Spritz. And believe me it's so easy.

All you have to do is add a little bit of Aperol (syrup?) to the bottom of your glass, add a third of soda water and a third of prosecco (and of course, a squeeze of orange). Now, I'm by no means a bartender and nor do I have the ability to make anything more exciting than an nespresso coffee. But I'm pretty happy with the results (and thankfully my friend thought so too!)

Confession time: I did have a sip. But it's very fresh, fruity and really refreshing and judging by how my friend asked for another one, it's a success!

Orange is one of my favourite citrus flavours and combined with prosecco which is notoriously refreshing.

It's ideal for the Indian summer that we're having - perfect for pub gardens.
