To be honest, this blog post has been way too long in the making. Not only was the event I attended over a month ago, but I’m approaching one of the busiest times of year for work (Black friday anyone?) so I’ve had limited daylight hours in which to actually shoot these products! Better late than never, which is why I’m sharing my haul from the World Duty Free UK event with Manchester airport in Terminal 1. In full disclosure, all products in this post were gifted to me or bought using vouchers.

Cosmetics.

I’m a huge fan of liquid lipsticks and these Giorgio Armani Lip Maestro in The Red and Blush are some of my new favourites. Not only is the texture buttery soft and not overly drying, but the colour payoff is really incredible! The Chanel Soleil de Tan Bronzer is one of those products that I’ve always desperately wanted to try but never got around to buying one - but now it’s in my life, I couldn’t possibly imagine my life without it. It’s a cream bronzer but it’s still easy to apply with a brush and has an amazing colour payoff - a little goes a long way! Plus, it feels so luxe. The girls at the Urban Decay counter full on sold me the Urban Decay Optical Illusion Complexion Primer which I was seriously surprised to find I loved! It’s an incredible primer that blurs everything without feeling too claggy or plastic on my skin. As it’s silicone free, it’s also non-comedogenic. And of course, I took the opportunity to try the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray which I’ve had a sample of in the past and 100% needed it in my life, especially with party season fast approaching!

Perfumes.

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve developed far more interest in the perfumes I wear, particularly with looking for scents that are slightly more different! World Duty Free gifted me with the Maison Margiela Replica in Beach Walk which has become one of my daily scents and is one I regularly get compliments when wearing! I also took the opportunity to try my very first Jo Malone fragrance in the Wild Bluebell scent.

Skincare.

World Duty Free has an incredible array of skincare options available and I picked up the Kiehls Nightly Refining Concentrate which has become a daily staple in my evening routine. I’ve genuinely noticed such a difference in my skin that I can’t imagine what my skincare routine would be like without it! Incredible!

What would you buy before your flight? What favourites do you pick up from Duty Free?
