It should come as no surprise to anyone who has met me that I’m very much a bed before 10pm kind of gal and that my idea of a perfect Saturday often involves loungewear, candles and Gilmore Girls. But whilst this is the perfect day for my friends and I, I’m starting to realise that this isn’t the case for many.

As much as I despise the word ‘autumnal’, the weather is definitely starting to change so what better way to celebrate the crispness of autumn than with a visit to our local pumpkin patch. Just 30 minutes drive from Manchester is the loveliest pumpkin patch called ‘Kenyon Hall Farm’ which offers seasonal produce picking and with it being October, they’re the place to go for pumpkins! We were so fortunate with the weather which meant it was surprisingly quiet - something which really gave us a chance to take some really sweet photos and just have a nice day! It’s free to enter - you just have to pay if you take a pumpkin!

The whole day felt incredibly autumnal, and we finished by curling up in front of Gilmore Girls with a hot chocolate and Quorn nuggets - it was honestly one of the best days. Because the day was somewhat spontaneous, I would not recommend wearing heeled boots to a pumpkin patch but it wasn’t as muddy as expected so if you' choose to embrace a cosy saturday, definitely try wellies or old boots!
