Skin Base Choices That Won't Sweat Off

Having spent most of my life living in Asia, I'm no stranger to sweat and humidity and I know the worst thing about makeup is having it sweat off your face. Besides a good base, the only other way to avoid sweating your 'face' off is a good primer - a post which will be up soon!

Starting with a lighter coverage option, I'm a massive fan of the thisWorks Perfect Look Skin Miracle which is a tinted moisturiser with a bronzey undertone which is great to add a bit of colour to your skin and almost makes you look ever so slightly sunkissed. Because its a moisturiser as well, it's really comfortable to wear and because it's not an actual foundation, you don't have to worry about it sliding off as the day goes on. Each pump is very highly pigmented so don't go too slap happy or you could end up with oompa loompa undertones.

The Glossier Perfecting Skin Tint is another light coverage option albeit more high coverage than the thisWorks option. I use the shade light which has pink undertones which means it looks incredibly natural. It honestly gives such a lovely skin finish as it evens out your skincare and helps reduce any redness. It's not ideal if you do have a lot of pigmentation but the coverage is build able. This is gorgeous for summer as it gives your skin a glow and luminosity which just makes you look healthy. If you're in the UK, there are loads of US Sellers on ebay which is how I got mine!

A long time favourite of mine has been the bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Gel which is an unusual mousse texture. It's probably low/medium coverage but is definitely buildable. It has a very glowy finish again and sometimes I do pop on a bit of powder to avoid my T-Zone looking too oily. It's very comfortable to wear and is really easy to wear as even if you wear a little bit, it's really easy to buff into the skin.

And finally, the NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser is my high coverage option as despite it being a tinted moisturiser, it's very pigmented. It's a really lovely finish and the yellow undertone does give you a lovely finish and gives you a candlelit glow. Because of the moisturising qualities, it gives your skin luminosity whilst still leaving it with a perfected finish.
